Dentsu Aegis Network in collaboration with Oxford Economic examined 10 countries on how successfull they were in building a digital economy that benefits the whole society.
Based on an international questionnaire of 20,000 people and also an extensive secondary research, the survey gives us a snapshot of a world where scepticism towards technology grows together with the expansion of digital technology.
According to the research in order to avoid further aversion we have to ensure that digital economy delivers both economic growth and personal prosperity. This requires awareness and action by business leaders and government officials alike. Their actions should for example enhance the developement of digital skills in education, reinvent workplaces to harness digital talent and increase the transparency of personal data use.
